Combined heat and power

Combined heat and power (CHP)

Operating pressures and the effects of force must be measured in all areas of power generation – also in combined heat and power stations.

Example of pressure and temperature measurement:

Switching solutions from tecsis are the number one choice on hydraulic units in combined heat and power stations as far as maximum reliability is concerned. Power companies rely on the well-tried pressure gauges and pressure sensors from tecsis for pressure monitoring.

Example of temperature measurement:

There are up to 20 different temperature measuring locations in one combined heat and power station alone. Different mechanical and electronic measuring devices are used.

  • For monitoring the exhaust gas temperature, for example, using mineral insulated thermocouples.
  • The PT-Compact product range from tecsis would be suitable for controlling the cooling water circuit using electric temperature sensors.
